Grinding Materials
Ceramic grinding bodies (ceramic-bonded grinding bodies)
Ceramic grinding bodies are available in different geometries, for example ellipses, cones, pyramids, cylinders and special geometries. Your grinding intensity ranges from weak via medium to very strongly abrasive grinding. Due to the hard base material, ceramic grinding bodies are mainly used in the grinding of steel /stainless steel alloys. The addition of the corresponding grinding compound, which we produce in-house especially for this application, plays a decisive role in this.
Plastic grinding bodies (artificial resin-bonded minerals)
These high-quality, artificial resin-bonded grinding bodies are distinguished by their high abrasion performance and result in a more finely ground surface. Plastic grinding bodies are mainly used for the grinding and finish grinding of non-ferrous metals, since they have a soft structure bonding, which prevents the treated surface from being too scratched or damaged. They are available in different shapes, sizes and grinding degrees, from very fine to strong grinding.
Polishing and grinding compounds:
PM-32 – Polishing compound (magnet polisher & wet processing pot)
The polishing compounds listed here are ideal for use in magnet polishers. During the wet process in centrifugal disk finishing machines, grinding compounds are added, since these ensure bright, clean and corrosion-free surfaces during slide grinding. During the treatment process, sliding foam is formed that prevents the parts to be treated from being damaged. An additional effect of the compound is the even recirculation and shifting of parts with the corresponding grinding bodies.
DC-10 - Grinding compound for gold and silver treatment
DC-26 - Grinding compound for all metals, universally usable, little foam formation
DC-34 - Grinding compound for aluminium products
